Invoices are issued directly to students via email, unless a prior billing arrangement exists with the student’s home institution. All payments must be received by the invoice due date. A $300 late fee will be applied to overdue accounts. Students with outstanding balances (excluding documented financial aid) may be unable to complete course registration, move into program housing, attend classes, or participate in any official program-related events or activities.

CREDIT CARDS

Payments may be made through IAU’s secure Payment Portal. Enrollment Deposits are paid via a direct link emailed to students. IAU accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express; a 2% service fee applies to card payments. All payments must include the student’s name.

CHECKS

Checks must include the student’s name and IAU program in the memo line. A $35 fee applies to returned checks.

STUDENTS USING FINANCIAL AID

Students expecting financial aid must submit the Financial Assistance Form by the Payment in Full deadline. All students are responsible for any balance not covered by aid.

539 College Savings Plans

Use of 529 funds depends on individual plan rules and eligibility. Students must confirm with their 529 provider and home institution whether funds may be applied to IAU program costs. IAU cannot guarantee eligibility or tax treatment.

1098-T Forms

IAU does not issue 1098-T forms. If tuition is billed through the home institution, that institution should issue the form. Students paying IAU directly should consult a tax professional; IAU can provide a zero-balance account statement upon request.
